Fabrika Photography, a renowned professional photography studio based in Istanbul, was established by the accomplished photographers Tamer Yilmaz and Ayten Alpun Yilmaz in 1999. Ayten Alpun Yilmaz, born in Sweden, gained valuable experience as a photo assistant in Stockholm for four years before moving to Turkey. There, she met Tamer Yilmaz, and the two combined their talents to form what is now known as Fabrika.
